 7th Religion - Discussion Questions over Matthew 9 & 10

1.  Matthew says that Jesus had compassion on people when he saw that they were “harassed and helpless.” Different people have different levels of compassion for different groups of people or different causes. What are the people or causes that you have the most compassion for, and why? 
2.  How can you be “shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves” like Jesus said? 
3.  Jesus says some very tough things in chapter ten, things that are hard to understand and hard to believe. What teaching from chapter ten was really hard for you, and how do you make sense of what Jesus is trying to say?
