7th Science - Chapter 5 Test today.  No new assignments.

7th Religion - Discussion Questions over Matthew 2 are due Thursday (11/15):

1. Who did God speak to in a dream in Matthew 2?  Do you think that God still speaks to people in dreams?
2. Jesus’ 3 fold office is as prophet, priest, and king.  Which do you see Jesus as most; which title fits Jesus the best, in your opinion?

8th Science - We read page 104 and made a colloid in class - butter.  A "open-notes" test over chapter 4 will happen on Thursday (11/15) and students are allowed to use any hand-written notes that have been written in their science notebooks.  Answers to the chapter review are also online, if students would like to use them to study.

15.  Elements cannot be separated into simpler substances, but compounds can be separated by chemical means.

20.  Carbonated beverages should be stored in a refrigerator. Gases are more soluble at lower temperatures, so more gas will stay dissolved in the beverage if it is kept cold.
