7th Religion - Began Matthew 8, Discussion Questions due Thursday (1/24)

1. Describe a time when a sickness made a big impact in your life.  This might be a sickness you had or someone else had.  It might be a sickness that was cured, or one that did not result in healing.
2. Has following Jesus ‘cost’ you anything?  Have you had to sacrifice friendships, experiences, money, or anything else to follow Jesus?
3. When Jesus calmed the storm, he was a little upset with his disciples.  They wanted Jesus to help them scoop water out of their sinking ship, but Jesus fixed the problem in a different way.  Describe a time when God answered a prayer differently than what you were asking.
