7th Science - Recorded observations about our celery experiment in our science notebooks and read pages 84-87 about how cells interact with their surroundings - diffusion, osmosis, passive transport, active transport, endocytosis, and exocytosis

7th Religion - Deborah discussion questions are due Thursday (9/20), #'s 2-4

2. What was Barak afraid of?  Why would having Deborah along alleviate those fears?
3. In Judges 4:9, Deborah talks about honor going to a woman instead of to the men.  When a woman succeeds today, how do the men around her typically respond? Why?
4. Which of Deborah's characteristics would you most like to have?  What would you do if you had that characteristic?

1. Why do you think the Lord begins (Judges 6:7-10) by reminding the Israelites of what he has already done for them?
2. Why does the angel of the Lord call Gideon a "mighty warrior," since Gideon was hiding from the Midianites in a winepress?
3. The angel of the Lord told Gideon to "go in the strength you have."  When has the Lord said something similar to you? Describe that time.

8th Science - Read pages 44-45 on physical properties and worked on a lab involving density on page 702. Lab should be finished (with graph) by Thursday (9/13).

Also, 8th graders should try to display the data for the traffic model rating (sent in a gaggle.net email) in a helpful way.  Mr. Jacklin will look at this with them on Tuesday.
