7th Science - We learned about classification and scientific names, and we are completing the activity about scientific names called Shape Island on pages 716-717 in the green textbook.

8th Science - Test over atoms and chemical formulas today.

7th Religion - Discussion questions over Matthew Matthew 20 & 21 are due Thursday (3/13).

1. In the Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard, Jesus shows that often things are not ‘fair.’  Why do you think we are so concerned about things being fair?
2. At the end of chapter 20, Jesus was on his way to Jerusalem to fulfill his work as the Messiah.  On the way he was interrupted by two blind men who wanted their sight.  How do you handle being interrupted from something you feel is very important?
3. When Jesus drove the money changers out of the temple he was angry, but it was a righteous anger since he should have been angry about those things.  When have you experienced or seen righteous anger?  How do you control this good anger and keep it from getting out of control?

World Religions - We read some Surahs (chapters) from the Qu'ran to be able to compare it to the Bible. We are very blessed to have the Bible as the Divine Word of God!
