7th Religion - Question over Matthew 22
- One of the customs of weddings at the time of Jesus was that the host would provide nice clothes for the guests. What are some customs at weddings these days that you think are very meaningful and why?
2. Jesus said the greatest commandment was to Love the Lord with all your heart, soul, mind, strength... Explain why this commandment might be 'better' than some of the other good commandments God gave us.
3. The question about paying taxes really has to do with whether we should obey a government we don't agree with. How do you think we should handle situations when we don't agree with our U.S. government?
