7th Religion - Discussion questions for Matthew 23 &24 are due Thursday (5/2)

  1. In Matthew 23 Jesus is very harsh with the Pharisees, calling them hypocrites for making laws they wanted other people to follow but did not follow themselves.  How do you react to someone who is acting like a hypocrite, telling people to do one thing while choosing to do the opposite, themselves?
  2. When thinking about the end of the world, some people are excited to see Jesus come in His glory while others are more fearful as they think about many scary events happening then.  Do you look forward to Jesus coming while you are still alive, or would you rather he come after you have died?
  3. What is something you would like to do or accomplish before Jesus comes back at the end of the world?
