7th and 8th Science - Students brought their science fair questions to class and shared ideas about their classmates questions in a brainstorming session.  The first science review (one page paper of research) is due October 3.

7th Science - Recorded observations about our celery experiment in our science notebooks and read pages 84-87 about how cells interact with their surroundings - diffusion, osmosis, passive transport, active transport, endocytosis, and exocytosis

7th Religion - Deborah discussion questions are due Thursday (9/20), #'s 2-4

2. What was Barak afraid of?  Why would having Deborah along alleviate those fears?
3. In Judges 4:9, Deborah talks about honor going to a woman instead of to the men.  When a woman succeeds today, how do the men around her typically respond? Why?
4. Which of Deborah's characteristics would you most like to have?  What would you do if you had that characteristic?

8th Science - Graded the section review on page 49, read pages 50-55 about chemical properties and chemical changes.  Science Fair Questions due Wednesday.

7th Religion - Pretest on Deborah.  Questions 2-4 due Thursday (9/20).

7th Science - graded the chapter review for chapter three.  Began a lab to see how different liquids will affect stalks of celery over the weekend.

7th Religion - Quiz over Gideon.  New memory: Isaiah 50:10 and Psalm 20:7

8th Science - Chapter 2 section 2 review (page 49 #'s 1-11) due Monday (9/17).  Turn in the 'density of marbles' graph if you have not done so, already.
